Those in need

We watched the weather channel for our area and couldn't help but laugh-we had every weather advisory available minus tornado and hurricane. Crazy weather the last couple of days. Now that the snow is melting and various other reasons, areas in and around Bismarck are being flooded. This is very scary for many people but fortunately for us, we are safe. But for those who are affected by this, prayers go out to them. But what is awesome to see now, and usually after a disaster occurs, is people coming together to help each other. Friends, relatives,churches, businesses, and strangers dropping everything to come to the aid of those in need. And it should be this way! But why is it only after a crisis that we are aware of those in need? Hopefully, everyday we can be aware of the needs, physical and spiritual, of people in our local area and worldwide.
